Welcome to my inaugural entry -

I just thought i'd start out by getting some things out in the open...

1. WTF happened to qatalyst magazine?
Well, back in August of 2008, qatalyst magazine took a bit of a financial and personal nosedive. It was fucked up and weird at the time... but a lot of good has come from it. this site is is going to be my take on what's happening in kitchener waterloo this summer - interesting people, places, things, events. My apologies to all that were out of the loop on what was happening with the physical magazine, but as i mentioned, it was a strange couple months. readers, advertisers and contributors - thanks for understanding.

2. Why no Comments?
My intention is for this site to act as an online mag of sorts... so no comments for now.
No, the real reason is that my ego gets bruised when no one comments, and then i get angry & discouraged and then i stop posting... so i just thought i'd prevent that downward spiral before it even starts.
But with that said, if you want to contact me... feel free.

3. How often will there be Updates?
Planning on 4 updates a week. if this doesn't happen right away, bear with me.

Alright - here we go. I'm not going to lie to you - i'm putting a 2 week trial on this project.
Not really telling anyone... and feeling out the sitch. fingers crossed.

Some things coming up over the week:
- a schmancy wedding at the Delta downtown kitchener
- friends have a baby at KW Hospital
- we check out The Soloist at The Princess Cinemas in uptown waterloo.
