Engineers without Borders - Tuesday

Tomorrow between 11am and 5pm Engineers without Borders will be hosting a fundraiser at the Slab in Uptown.

They will be pumping water on a treadle pump to symbolize the challenges farmers in rural Ghana face to make a living in farming.

Their goal is to raise $1,000/hr over 6 hours of pumping to help fund the Ghanaian Agriculture As A Business Program, which provides training and access to opportunities for farmers to help them transition their operations from subsistence to viable agricultural businesses.

Come out, bring your loonies.

H.
