Hope Bay Amazingness

We spent Saturday and Sunday at Mellor and Tim's place on Hope Bay - it's on Georgian Bay between Wiarton and Lion's Head. That road in front of their place is part of the Bruce Trail, so beautiful and peaceful - until saturday night, when we got into the drinks with some of their neighbours. we ended up at one of their friends cottages drinking PB+J shots. BAD idea.

But, some swimming the next morning straightened us all out. Pretty hilarious watching my parents puppy try to figure out swimming. i wish i had a video, that would have been a good addition.

The afternoon brought an insane thunderstorm through the Bay - which i think ended up in KW around 10pm. Last year or the year before they had seen some crazy "waterspout" during a thunderstorm up there... maybe Mr.Christie could give us a little science lesson on what a waterspout actually is?

I thought about posting some more photos from Hope Bay - but i don't think anyone needs to see us in that state. hahahaa.
