Kitchener-Waterloo is a great place to live for so many reasons. There's so many great schools, parks, oraganizations, jobs and more in the area. One way to show your appreciation is to spend a few hours giving back.
The Volunteer Action Center is an organization in K-W (and area) that provides a listing of numerous organizations in the area in need of volunteers. They also have events like volunteer fairs and volunteer awards.
You can search their database for volunteer positions based on your skills, interests and schedule. Some of the positions just require a car and driver's licence. Other are a bit more interesting and may require culinary flare. If you're interested in conducting a massive choir, this position may be for you. Wether it's a an afternoon every month, or a one-time event, spend some time giving back to our great cities!
