So... i caved and went to see The Time Traveler's Wife last night.
I definitely felt that it was going to SUCK compared to the book, so I prepared myself.
Turns out - the movie is great! What a nice surprise!
Yes, they leave a lot of stuff out, but hey, it's a 500 page book... do you want them to pull a Forrest Gump/Benjamin Button so you can sit in the theatre for 3 and a half hours? no thank you.
it's an adaptation... that means they have to adapt some things.
If you've not been seeing it because you're scared it will ruin your love affair with Claire and Henry - get over it. you will love them more.
and if you haven't read the book. go buy it and call in sick to read it in one very long,lovely, weepy, heartbroken sitting... trust me.
