Lots of chicks in a room

Today I went to TO for lunch at a "Women of Influence" event. I have to say that normally women getting together in one place to collectively share and inspire one another usually makes me want to puke in my mouth a little bit - but my friend Carolyn runs the thing - and she's wicked... so i figured it was worth a shot.

Very happy i went.

The keynote speaker was Christine Day... she is the CEO of Lululemon.
Great speaker, impressive career history (worked at Starbucks for 20 very formative years) and funny stories about being a chick in business, having a family, and how to be successful.

Women of Influence is hosting their first KW event in a few weeks, you should go.
Ginny Dybenko, Dean of Laurier is the speaker.
