Open to the Public

So... we are debating switching to BullFrog Power at home.

I know this is not the perfect solution - delivery of the clean energy to the grid is a little sketchy, blah blah blah - the reason that I want to do it, is to place our vote for clean energy.

I can't count the number of times that I have seen conservative minds ask "well, how well are you doing NOW?" when asked to fund/support a new initiative. Their concern, as egotistic and patronizing as it may sound, is that they are going to invest in something that is unsuccessful. Money loving, success obsessed, publicly traded people do not like risk. end of story.

How do we combat this? We pay a little more, or make the little extra effort to support something that we believe in - so that we SHOW in dollars/cents/attendance/buzz how firmly we believe in the concept and indeed are willing to put our money where our mouths are.

So, rant aside... as a sign of support that Canada should be investing in clean energy - do we spend the extra $28/month on hydro?

lemme know your thoughts.
