There's a couple of interesting things happening downtown on Friday... and they don't cost anything.. which is great.
6 p.m, the Critical Media Lab, 195 King Street, will host a dual exhibit of works by Paul Roorda and Andy McMurry, directly across the street from city hall.
- By Roorda, a series of weather-damaged works on paper exploring the ''eco-guilt'' associated with the intensifying call to deal with global climate change. - love it.
- By McMury, a screening of the confrontational eco-critical video project called ''Futile Culture.'' (starts at 7pm).
Then at 8pm, there's a new digital video project on the Cube. Apparently the best place to check that out is in front of the Silver Spoon on King... hopefully they have the coffee on...
