Theatre isn't just for your Nana.

Have you been to a show at The Registry lately? It’s the one on Frederick
You know, I don’t know if I’ve been there in the past 3 years or so – sad.

Good thing I’m making up for it on Thursday by seeing “The Last 15 Seconds” - movement, dance, video, vocals and text, to explore the topic of terrorism.

How can you not want to see this? It sold out the 2 nights it showed at Impact, so this is an extended run.

Here’s some other stuff coming up at The Registry, listed by order of what you should definitely see, according to me:

1. ART of TIME Ensemble with SARAH SLEAN - $30
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21st ~ 8pm

Have you ever seen Sarah Slean live? Super beautiful voice and presence. If you want to grow up to be an adult with any bit of class, you should probably attend this.

2. NOTA BENE PERIOD ORCHESTRA - $28 or $10 for students.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18th ~ special 3pm matinee concert
Music of the Stars with special guests, Royal Canadian Astrononical Society.

Fun! Music and Space… yep. I’m a total geek, and I’ll be there.

3. DANCEMAKERS – FREE
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4th – 8pm
60 dances in 60 minutes

Oh yes, love the poster. Completely sold me.

Also, it’s FREE… PWYC when you leave.

But you have to call ahead to reserve your tickets… this may actually be a toss up for the 2nd place spot. Call The Registry Theatre at 519-745-6565.

4 PAT BRADEN: A Place to call Home - $20.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15th ~ 8pm
“Songs and stories of the North in the heartwarming spirit of Stuart McLean’s Vinyl Café”

I don’t really get the whole Vinyl Café obsession, but I know some of you do. So there you go.

Alright, lemme know if you go to any of this stuff and then let me know what you thought!

H.
