Let me just say that this was definitely 90 minutes well spent - very glad that I went.
Here were a couple of Kristijana's tips for staying un-swined this winter:
1. Get enough sleep, duh.
2. Exercise, you lazy slob.
3. Avoid sugar, what are you? 5?
4. Drink lots of PURE water - like, eight glasses a day. Herbal tea counts.
5. Reduce stress - i'm working on this one.
6. Wash your hands often, obv.
7. Get fresh air every day... especially when it's cold out.
8. Eat immune boosting foods, like green tea, cayenne pepper, garlic and bright coloured fruits and veg.
9. use supplements - probiotic, vitamin D and antioxidants like vit A,C,E, selenium and zinc.
Also, did you know there's this thing called Pascoleucym that is essentially the natural flu shot? weird.
If you check out there site there is a lot of good recipes, tips and other resources.
I made an appt to go see her and figure out how to not be such a lazy ass... my benefits cover it so might as well 'stick it to the man', right?
I've never been to a homeopath though - not too sure what to expect.
Have you? good or bad experience? lemme know.
