A quote from the mayor in the City's press release says ''It will be exciting to see again how residents feel about their city. It will help us gauge whether we're heading in the right direction." Indeed. It will also be interesting to see if the results of the survey have any bearing on how the strategic planning of the city Also from the press release: 'The survey poses a number of statements and asks respondents to take a position. It does not offer a ''neutral'' option, so respondents cannot 'sit on the fence' on the issues.' 1,000 Questionnaires (is this a big enough sample size?) will be mailed out to selected households in Kitchener this week. Residents were chosen based on demographics to ensure a true representation of the community. Lemme know if you get a survey... my fingers are crossed that we get one. H. |

K-town Survey Launched.
The city of Kitchener has a community survey going right now to assess how resident's view the city's quality of life, service and vision.
