Pay what you think - at The Registry Theatre

I like this concept a lot, leaving payment up to the patrons.

Makes you feel enpowered, no?

For the first one, pwyc at the door... for the second one, pay on your way out to reflect how much you enjoyed the show.

Maybe some local rock venues should take a note?

Little Crickets: by Douglas Campbell

A staged reading of a new play by Douglas Campbell. Two Romanian teenage sisters in Paris in 1990, the year after the overthrow of the Ceausescu regime. They are taken in by the wealthy, middle-aged Mr. Smith who begins to exert a domination over them that mirrors the domination of Ceausescu over Romania. The title refers to Aesop's fable of the Ant and the Grasshopper, which in a Romanian poem, is the Ant and the Cricket.

Come and enjoy this play in development.

No tickets required - Just pay what you can at the door.
