So, this isn't local, but I went last year and it was ... epic... to use the most overused word of 2009.
Seriously.
$125 ticket - all going to support the AGO - well spent, if you ask me.
I wish I would have taken photos last year, but the theme was "revolution".
You had to push through some dudes dressed as riot police to get into the party. Then a fake John and Yoko had a full bed-in. Later on, they disappeared and this hot chic in lingerie with a gorilla mask on, posed on the bed while a gazillion photogs had a staged shoot with her.
All this, while a ton of pretentious young people got smashed on the open bar in the middle of the 3rd floor of the Art Gallery of Ontario.
COME. ON.
