Canadian Clay & Glass looking for a bailout?

CKCO reported on this last night:

"Troubling financial issues have hit the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo.
On Monday night, the gallery asked Waterloo City Council for emergency money to get through the year.
The gallery is looking for $300,000 over the next 18 months and needs to know if the city will support it by the middle of December.
The gallery's books will be cracked open by city staff. Council hopes to have a better idea of what the gallery needs by December 7th."

Really? If you read this, you'll know that there is already a tonne of cash sunk into this beast.

Is it worth keeping?
Should the building, which is beautiful, the only thing worth saving here?
Have you EVER checked out an exhibit there? I haven't.

Lemme know what you think.
