I don't know when or how it started, but I have a deep love for Public Art. I love how it's just "out there" in the world, exposed to the elements, so inclusive and fuckyouimherenowlookatme, ya know?
Anyways, I mention this, because the City of Kitchener is running a survey from Monday, January 25th till February 12 where you have an opportunity to express your opinions and experiences about public art.
You can go HERE to fill it out online, or if you know someone still living in the dark ages, you could pick up the paper version at the library branches, community centres and pools... or at City Hall.
The survey asks for some suggestions of where public art could be placed, as well as 3 personal stories that relate to the whole, art-out-in-the-world thing.
H.
PS> looks like it may be live already? but maybe they're just testing it.
