Symphony takes a pay cut.

An article appeared in The Record today talking about how the musicians in the KW Symphony have been asked to take a pay cut, and have accepted.

There are 52 full time musicians earning from $27k to $45k. Haven't received pay increases in 2 years... and are now taking a 5% decrease. brutal.

I'm hoping to check out a performance in March. Have you been?

I know that in the past, they've run $5 tix for under 30's.

Man, that is a great idea. Since... i'm under 30. Kind of shitty for those over 30, having to pay full price just for being in the right demographic. But hey, such is marketing.
