The City of Waterloo is holding a public input session on building an “action sports facility” – that’s a skateboard/bmx park for the rest of you that don’t speak the language of political navigation.
Site for the park is proposed as Waterloo Park or Uptown…
The meeting is Thursday Jan 21 from 5pm-8pm with a presentation at 7pm. Waterloo Rec Centre.
I’m guessing someone with some clout complained about the kickflip kids using the concrete slab?
