Long weekend on Long Lake.

Holy, beautiful weather on the weekend. Hot and super humid. Perfect for being on the lake.

We got up there on Saturday aft – had some dinner, went out in the boat, had a fire.
Seriously, these photos of the sun going down are awesome and not photoshopped. hahaha.



There was so much wildlife running around, it was nuts.
We spotted 2 Woodpeckers!!! For real. They look exactly like Woody the Woodpecker. It’s unreal.
Also saw some very agile and opportunistic raccoons. Tried to snap some photos, but couldn’t get the BB settings right.
I really need to start carrying the camera.
There was also a couple great turtle visits.

Sunday and Monday were great – lots of relaxing, swimming, waterskiing and wicked dinners. Oh, and an INSANE fire on Sunday night… all thanks to p and k … and my aunt’s secret fire starting technique “the bundle of joy” – don’t ask.

(I started reading Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass… it’s awesome, highly recommend that you read it if you like to use your imagination at all.
But, turns out the author was a pedophile… which puts a little damper on the story. )

Anyways, got home around 5pm yesterday.

Back at it today.
