The focus of the fall screening series is to introduce audiences to 10 films that embody crucial moments in the development of cinematic traditions, but that have been largely overlooked by critics, by the academy and by popular audiences. Not only are they well-made and exciting examples of the periods from which they are from, they are essential viewing for the both the serious and casual devotee of cinema.
