October - Great Month at Maxwell's

Tonight at Maxwell's our friends The Free Press are playing with Telfer and Loaded Dice.

It's 19+ and $7 to get in.

Doors are at 9pm, but not too sure what time they're going on.

You know, it took a while for these guys to grow on me, but now I'm into it. They have great stage presence and it's always nice to see people play that obviously LOVE what they are doing.

Sandman Viper Command is playing there on Oct 8. GO TO THIS SHOW. It's $5.

Then Said the Whale is playing on Oct 14. $10 - never heard these guys live, but they're from Vancouver and seem to be picking up speed.

and THEN Sound Foundation (a group of local guys that put on a great show) haven't been able to see them for about a year - Oct 17 $5.

AND THEN! (i told you it was a good month) The Sauce and Wilmott Redd on Oct 22 for $5.

I think these guys have a facebook group - i'll post it when i get home at some point.

These guys go to Laurier and are a must see.

So - realistically, i will not make it to all these shows - but really, they're all great acts.
