KW News Update

Here's a couple interesting things that have happened in the last 20 hours in KW.

1. Kitchener Council voted to keep Rockway Seniors Centre open and running for the next while.

2. Kitchener Council also voted on letting Andrin Homes develop a chunk of downtown into condos/boutique hotel/parkette thingy. Been in the works for a long time, but now moving forward i guess.

3. Waterloo Council has voted to put the merger question on the ballot for the municipal elections this fall.

And the Library thing happened today, but I gotta say, didn't make it. Apparently, nothing to report, information-wise.... well, nothing other than the fact that the Library Board should obviously hire a PR company to advise on how to deal with the public. Just sayin.
