Ignite! Waterloo

Just got home from an amazing evening at Ignite! at the Children's Museum.
Oh man, if you were not there you missed a seriously unique nite of conversation, ideas and inspiration. Not to mention making new friends.

Video is going to be going up on their site over the next little while, so i'll post when it's up - but really, i would HIGHLY recommend checking out the next event (which i believe may be in January?)

Cupcake decorating contest was hilarious - you'd think it would be super lame, but it was great. All entries were hilariously original and quirky... one might have had the nativity scene on it. I am NOT kidding. Photos tomorrow when I have the proper cord handy.

Speakers were so dynamic - everything from how climate change is affecting our local watershed to love on "Second Life" to high altitude medicine to how to make a hackerspace, a neighbourhood community and an unconference. How much do you hate yourself for missing this shit??? (and i don't use the triple question mark often, so i really want to know).

Anyways,
Good Work and Good Nite KW, you make me proud.
H.
